Christmas 2018

Here is a late entry about christmas 2018 that I have forgotten to post.

The first sign that the holiday is coming are all the fundrising lists we are bombarded with at work. Parents with brats that are doing sports, music related things etc. need money for their activities, so they try to sell us, not so very tasty, cookies. They have no shame.

This christmas a new list stood out. It was not raising money for brats activities, but an amateur theatre group with middle aged. I immediately suspected it to be a group of parents having an excuse to get out of the house to go to the pub. If not, they were not very talented.

If they sometimes were able to get out of the planning stage in the pub and on to a scene, the performances are most likely not a "must see" show.

A new form of list also appeared this christmas. I was told it was a "must have" wrapping paper kit. I did not write my name on that list. Will christmas 2019 bring us new exciting lists ?. Only eleven months left to find it out.
