New scenes to The Never Ending Project

Frustrating times for Tanjetsfilms. We never seem to be able to finish the short we are working on. We are thinking of calling it "The Never Ending Project". We can get Beth Andreson and that other bloke who was called Liam, Lemur, Limahl, Leon... or something to do a new version of that world hit from the eighties. All they have to do is to change some of the words in the lyrics. I can`t wait to hear the cool kids of today singing " Never ending prooooojeeect, aaahaa aaahaa,aaahaa.

A book based on a conference about death has just been published. What is more perfect for the launch than to screen a Tanjetsfilms production.
The launch will take place on 24 April in the old Anatomy Museum at King`s college London.

Hopefully "The Christmas edition" will be finished during April this year. We are beginning to be fed up with this project, but we only have ourselves to blame. We can always try to blame the society or our prime minister, but Norway is a democracy with free elections. The prime minister also never promised that our short would be finished in a short time. In fact he never mentioned our project at all in any of his speaches during last election. We also have a suspicion that he doesn`t know anything about this project or if we even exist.
Blaming God is also out of the question. He is way too powerful. We are considering blaming The Pope, but he is kind of old.
Anyway here are some more updates. The Olsen twins, a pink blogger and Santa Claus at the nort pole.

Backgrounds

We are still working on the next version of "Norwegian shorts with no ending...". At the moment we try to produce some ok backgrounds. This has always been a struggle for us. We feel we make small progress for every new projects we make, but who knows. Maby we are taking steps backwards for each time. A life as an animator is not easy.

Stop blaming the iceberg

Tanjetsfilms have just finished a new short. We hope this film will contribute to switch the focus from that boat to the real victim of the disaster, the iceberg. We have just started to send it to festivals. We think this short deserves The Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting. We, Tanjetsfilms, are aware of the unfair world we live in, so we do not expect anything.

Artpiece of the week

We have recieved critics from so called experts about one of our earlier entries. They think that as many as four mackerels in the artpiece "Mackerel fillets in tomato sauce shoal - Polluted occean background" is not enough to use the term shoal in the title. We think this is rubbish, and to silence the critics we have chosen to publish an even more impressive work including a shoal with twice the amount. This weeks we present "Mackerel fillets in tomato sauce shoal - Blue occean soon to be polluted background".

Artpiece of the week

After long, demanding but indeed very constructive discussions, we have decided to post yet another masterpiece among our Pop Art works. "Mackerel fillets in tomato sauce on Norwegian oatmeal (The lightly cooked version)" is one of our proudest moments. I don`t know what status oatmeal has in your country, but up here north it is more popular than the King. It is a bold statement considering that the King is celebrating his birthday today, but the truth must be told. One of the top news today in Norwegian papers is that Sotheby`s in New York is to offer one of the versions of "The Scream" by Edvard Munch on 2 May this year. We apologize if this post will overshadow this news.
